Bryan was demonstrating how to mow hay with the horses this past Sunday at White Memorial Park in Litchfield. It was a beautiful day, great weather for the horses. Not too hot. Didn't even crack a sweat.
Here he is going to rack the hay.
And actually racking. Such a smooth process and quiet too. We are so used to the noise of the tractors. But the mower makes just a clicking noise, and the rack is really quiet.
This is a Percheron Mare and 4 month old colt that is owned by a member of the club.
He is training the colt by having him ride along side his mother while she is pulling the wagon. Very well behaved.
